Keeping you Safe

Covid-19 Secure Workplace Policy

I really look forward to welcoming you to my treatment room and to ensure your safety and mine I would like to share with you the protocols I have put into place in order to comply with my insurer and the Association of Reflexologists. But more importantly I wish to reassure you and give you peace of mind that your safety is paramount to me.

Please be aware that these protocols may change depending upon advice from Public Health England and Government Guidelines. I will therefore regularly review my protocols and risk assessments and change accordingly. I will notify you personally of any changes that may affect your treatment and update this page as necessary.

To demonstrate my commitment to your safety and mine I have completed a course in Control of Cross Infection Covid-19 which is accredited and I ensure I adhere to the Association of Reflexologists Covid secure guidelines.

Below I have listed the steps I will take and what I kindly ask you to do:

Infection Control Certified

I will:

  • I will email you 24 hours before your appointment to ask you a few questions about your current health. This is to ascertain if it is appropriate for your treatment to go ahead.
  • I will wash my hands before, during (if necessary) and after each treatment.
  • I will wear a face covering.
  • I will wear dedicated clothes for treatments.
  • All linen and towels will be changed after each client and washed according to Government guidelines.
  • I will take a Lateral Flow Test twice a week as recommended by the Government.
  • At least 30 minutes will be allocated in between clients to ensure adequate time to sanitise and ventilate the treatment room and also to ensure no overlapping of clients.
  • If myself or a member of my household becomes ill or is showing signs of Covid-19, I will temporally close my practice and follow Government guidelines for self-isolation.

I kindly ask you:
